To have only just discovered Great British Bake Off?

I know I am really.

But I sort of "fell" into it on the night of the final and now I'm watching Mary and Paul giving their tips and stuff.

I don't even bake!

My one criticism is Paul referring to people's "bakes".

I never watch cookery programmes tbh.

But I'm liking GBBO.

Clearly not watching the never ending cookery/baking shows.

Normally can't abide them so really only watched GBBO by accident a few nights ago!

I've never been one for cookery programmes either, but have been addicted to the last two series! Even more surprising is that my never-baked-in-his-life-DH is seriously into it too, has started making delicious cakes and even baked bread at the weekend.

So yes, YABU, you Johnny-come-lately, bloody bandwagon jumper on-er.

You certainly can have my DH, Salmo! It's no good for my waistline at all. Honestly, his lemon drizzle cake is to die for. Must put lemons on the shopping list..

But no swapsies; you can keep your DH, although I'm sure he's quite delightful.

Yay - my DH is quite delightful.

He does DIY, sorts the garden, cooks, irons his own stuff, services the cars, and often runs around with the Hoover.

But he doesn't bake.
