To love hoovering up fruit flies

We have a glut of apples this year and I am not quite keeping up with all the apples coming into the kitchen. With the apples are coming tiny fruit flies - annoying little buggers. But, give me the Dyson and I feel like a Jedi knight as I suck the little things up - mid-air is especially rewarding!

I do it as well.. those things are indestructible.. They laugh in the face of fly sprat

Fun but they'll only fly back out of the Hoover again (when you're not looking) get some of that super-sticky fly paper, not many things are as satisfying as counting up the accumulated stuck flies everyday.

I am hoping that after swirling around in the vacuum they are dead!

I have spent the last 15 mins trying to get an effing bluebottle in the sitting room, but it is too bloody fast!
