To think the Asda groceries website is shite?

I always have problems with it..takes me ages..never get in first time..huge pauses between choosing selection and it appearing in basket etc. I use an iPad so I don't know if that makes a difference? It seems to jump around a lot too so I accidentally choose wrongs things , delet things etc. I actually think I would be better going off into the shop but I don't have transport. Anyone else experience the same difficulties?

I likes it better with their old site, it's been changed now and I hate it it takes so long.

I did actually complain about it in feedback when it first launched. For instance I like Philadelphia cream cheese but now I have to scroll through all the cream cheeses to find the brand I like instead of just clicking on the brand name at the top.

I find the checkout A pain in the arse and a lot of the time I give up cos it won't let me pay for my food.

Yanbu. It's fucking awful, I use an iPad too. I use Asda because they are the cheapest but have no end of trouble with them. So many issues with it I wouldn't know where to begin.

Use mysupermarket to do the actual shop. If you sign up for it via topcashback.co.uk you will earn £5 cash back on first shop and a whopping 25p on subsequent ones ;). It world with the delivery pass ( I had the months one)

Wearegoingtobedlehem · 21/10/2013 07:56

I have to admit I find it terribly unfriendly on an I pad- it adds stuff without out you having intentionally selected it. Like I was buying girls Huggies bedtime pull ups in size 6 and ended up at checkout with size 4 boys too- so removed them. Far easier on a laptop I think.

Bluecarrot · 21/10/2013 07:59

Oh, it does send you to the actual asda site to pay, but the rest is done on mysupermarket. Plus you can sort by price per unit AND it tells you about items at a v good price for that brand (savvy buys) PLUS you can earn cash back on some items. :)

Primadonnagirl · 21/10/2013 08:00

Oh and the recommendations it makes for me are completely bizarre!! Dog food for example..and I don't have a dog!

Anything to do with ASDA is shite.

The search facility is terrible.

I put in cucumber.
It said there were no results. FFS.
I eventually found the cucumbers but the whole site is unwieldy and slow (it's not my broadband connection, which is fast.)

I noticed a change after they added all the extra random categories, it crashes loads and I have to keep logging back in. There are loads of categories that have no items, why bother putting it there at all?

I live on the top floor of a flat with no lift so I have to order online just for the door to door delivery!
