To think I'd rather have Reese's Peanutbutter Cup than a shag?

Well, mostly, anyway!
They require no clean up, nothing needs dunking in a beaker, they are great even if you're too knackered to move, they require no imagination or effort and are on offer at the moment. Also, even though my bedroom has no door, they can still be enjoyed in bed without worry.
Two kids, one house, one job and one knackered mummy says bring on the crappy American stuff!

YABU because they sound utterly foul. But I'd rather have most other chocolate (not involving peanuts and certainly not peanut butter ) than a shag.
So if you'd just said chocolate I would agree YANBU.

DrSeuss · 16/10/2013 10:43

Home Bargains has cheap Dairy Milk if that helps?

Sadly no because I'm in Australia, but thank you kindly for the thought! Halloween Grin

WorraLiberty · 16/10/2013 10:46

Bleurrggh! DH's Aunt brings them from America and they're foul.

Really overly sweet and nasty.

Now a Whole Nut bar would be a different matter Grin

DrSeuss · 16/10/2013 10:47

Aussie friend raves about Tim Tams and Cherry Ripe bars. Where abouts in Australia. Have been to Darwin, Sydney, Ayers Rock and Brisbane and driveven Brisbane to Sydney. Loved it!

God, I'd go for a shag, anytime. Good for your skin & figure - an enjoyable work out that makes you feel fab. Chocolate leaves my teeth feeling coated & I feel a bit 'meh' and like I should take some exercise afterwards. Shag is guilt free endorphins - must leap on DH later...

comewinewithmoi · 16/10/2013 10:51

Never had one, peanut butter thingie that is. But yes there slots of things I'd rather do, knackered.

AnotherStitchInTime · 16/10/2013 10:52

YABU I would go for a shag too, but then I am on nil by fanjo due to pregnancy complications grrrr.

I do love Reese's peanut butter cups though, maybe I should be buying them as a substitute.

freddiefrog · 16/10/2013 10:56

Eww, no. Vile things

I would rather have a Terry's Chocolate Orange though

MissMilliment · 16/10/2013 10:58

Dark chocolate peanut butter cups are the best. Cherry Ripes are also lovely, a bit like Bounty bars but with chunks of cherry in with the coconut.

I've been happily single for a long time now and would miss chocolate far more than I'm currently missing sex Grin

Smoorikins · 16/10/2013 10:59

Is it just me thats confused by the 'dunking in a beaker' comment?

absentmindeddooooodles · 16/10/2013 11:01

Im having a giant peanutbuttercup made as our wedding cake. Mwah ha ha

weirdthing · 16/10/2013 11:01

Nigella has a lovely recipe for something akin to peanut butter cups in her Domestic goddess book. They are divine (and appalling unhealthy!)

Grotbagstwin · 16/10/2013 11:01

I would too, I love the whole Reeses range, having found out the do cereal by Reeses too I now need to hunt it down in the uk, and after breaking a tooth on a peanut M&M yesterday I have moree excuse to eat Reeses cups as there is no crunching of peanuts involved

DreamlessSleep · 16/10/2013 11:02

No. I heard about these and mum got some when she went on holiday and they were a great disappointment.

ChippingInNeedsSleepAndCoffee · 16/10/2013 11:02

smoorkins - yes. Where the hell have you been?

All I can say is ... your sex life must have always been utterly crap if you think one of those vile little things is better than sex. You poor thing :(

DrSeuss · 16/10/2013 11:08

Sex is great but it requires more time and effort than I can be arsed with right now. Between work, kids (no family support at all) and life, sitting on the sofa with chocolate and nothing else to do sounds great!

Loving the term "nil by fanjo" Grin - realise that it's not so good for you though AnotherStitch please help yourself to Brew and Cake if it helps?

BlackholesAndRevelations · 16/10/2013 11:11

As Adam Ant said "sex is sex, forget the rest, the only thing that's free. The only great adventure left to humankind, that's you and me....."

Famzilla · 16/10/2013 11:30

Amen. Or flipz, the white fudge covered pretzels. Or strawberry fanta. Oh dear, I have a massive urge to go to the American sweet shop in town and destroy all my hard work.

DreamlessSleep · 16/10/2013 11:32

Flipz are gorgeous. Havent seen tgem about apart from the retro sweet shops where the are £4 a bag.

poppycock6 · 16/10/2013 11:32

Yanbu. I am with you on that one! I bring back giant ones when we've been to the States. Scrummy Smile
