Name changer- long time poster. Seen how effective we are at asda deliveries/ Bt etc.....

Im in a really difficult situation with student finance and even though I have gone through the right channels regarding complaints nothing is happening fast enough.

Im about to withdraw from my final academic year as I cant afford to attend uni and mandatory placement (going to fail year if don't complete required days) as I still haven't had my student finance through including a massive amount relating to childcare (£900 a month 2 children).

I have raised complaint after complaint. The first one was never registered properly. Every correspondence is requesting more and more info even though they have had it. They wont let me email anything even though helpline said assessment office could allow it.

Ive found the directors by need to find some email address for them.

Im probably not making sense at all but if anyone can help please do!

Now off to post office to post some more info they have already had.

Go to your uni or students' union support staff or welfare adviser for help. Somebody should be able to call and put pressure on them for you. It's just a matter of finding who in your uni deals with it

Thanks BB that's the problem. Im on a satellite campus two hours away and no one there to talk to. (its a very weird set up)

I will try and ring them and see if they have an escalation policy.

Could you try to email this thread and the others to the press officer? Not sure if it would help but worth a try.

Primal lass you are amazing! I will be emailing both and now I know format will try the others too.

There is a data protection breach involved too. Im sure the Guardian ( or daily mail boaok) would love the story.
