I cannot decide whether I am a bit hormonal (possible) or whether he really does constantly shout and have an utterly smug expression 99% of the time?

He pledged £10m to charities from his website sale, he didn't have to...

YABU. He's passionate about saving people money and stopping them from getting ripped off - what's smug about that?

He's helped me halve my debt so far in the last year and hopefully I'll be debt free by this time next year. His website's given me the strength to face up to my debt problems and I'm eternally grateful.

that woman was talking shit though and he was trying to get her to acknowledge that the 13 kid benefot article is a rare occurance and most people claiming benefits do not hold the same views or act the same way as the people in the article, and that was not acknowledged.

He's a annoying and shouty on the TV. But I find most TV irritating so don't bother with it much any more. His website is a great resource though, good for encouraging people to play the game against big companies.

You don't have to follow every tip, but advice on how to cut spending down is very useful.

Chip-I expect he was advised to. You get tax breaks afaik if you donate, that's while the very wealthy tend to donate huge sums of money to charity.
