Travelling on the train back from London late at night. (maybe10ish)
A few rows down from me an old man (at least 70) had dropped off to sleep. The ticket lady came to check our tickets.
She stood next to the man and said clearly "excuse me, Sir"
No response.
So she said it louder ( a LOT louder)
No response.
So she screamed it at him. I mean, full on screaming. Everyone in the carriage jumped out of their skins and craned around to stare (it sounded like she was being attacked) A baby started crying etc etc.
The poor bloke looked terrified and humbly handed over his tickets once he had established that was why he was being screamed at.
Now I know she had a job to do and the cant touch passengers but AIBU to think this was a bit harsh?
