Tattoo addiction

Anyone else watching 'tattoo addiction'? 'Rape me' on Jordan image, an image of Victorian woman reading a book about anal sex and Audrey Hepburn with some ball& chain in her mouth. Fuck me. AIBU to wonder who would do those tattoos? Surely there should be some regs about what's acceptable? It's public viewing after all? So much for 'body art'.

Poor??? Have you seen how much tattoos cost nowadays????

VerySmallSqueak · 04/10/2013 14:26

LaGuardia are you talking about all tattoos or just ones you find offensive?

passmetheprozac · 04/10/2013 16:08

LaGuardia Fri 04-Oct-13 14:19:33
It is a certain type of person who gets themselves tattooed up. Usually, thick, poor and self-harming.

Seriously???

What absolutely moronic thing to post.

6 tattoos here, a BA Hons degree and a job in the NHS Wink
Oh and I went to a private school on a full scholarship

KatieScarlett2833 · 04/10/2013 18:00

On the contrary, I think it should become law for every arse of a human to have a tattoo of their every hate on their face.
Eg "racist"
"Abuser"
"Homophobe"
Then you would know who to avoid Wink

Branleuse · 04/10/2013 18:04

i dont like those tattoos but they do serve as a great early warning signal of who to completely avoid at all costs

I do however, like tattoos in principle and have a few myself

PeriodFeatures · 04/10/2013 18:04

tattoos should be regulated....perhaps like this Grin

The bloke with that outrageous Hitler tattoo on them is usefully signalling to the rest of the world what kind of person they are. Will hopefully prevent him breeding.

offensive tattoos should be restricted in the same way as other offensive imagery or statements.

misskatamari · 04/10/2013 19:27

I guess at least people can easily see at a glance that those people are complete twats!

Birdsgottafly · 05/10/2013 08:51

I watched this again last night and I think that the man getting the Hitler tattoo would off thought twice, if the cameras had not been there, you could see that he was having doubts.

When the Polish artist challenged him for laughing, you could see that he realised the strength of feeling that he is going to encounter, he was very uncomfortable. He made no comment when looking at the finished result.

He is certainly going to have to keep his lower leg covered in most situations and on holiday across the EU.

The tattoo artist that said most people don't know what happened, is ridiculous, Poland is a popular holiday destination amongst my DD's friends (17-25) and I am working class Liverpool. They all would have something to say on seeing this in RL.

It's a certain type of person who Stereotypes anyone for one aspect of that person, thick, ignorant and has little life experience.

Birdsgottafly · 05/10/2013 08:52

My last comment was to LaGuardia.

technosausage · 05/10/2013 10:14

Sorry to come in late on this one but LaGuardia really?
People who get tattoos are usually...
Thick- nope two degrees.
Poor- three properties and enough in the bank (not meaning to boast)
You are making yourself out to be the thick one. About 40% of my body is tattooed, but if I'm wearing a T-shirt and jeans you would never know. And I've got dreadlocks
Put that in your judgemental pipe and smoke it

DevonLodger · 06/10/2013 22:34

I had a personal trainer once who always wore long sleeved tops. On a run once he went out in a tee-shirt and I saw he had 2 tattoos; a swastika and "Nazi" on his arm. I felt sick and angry. I cancelled all future sessions and complained to the gym that employed him. I was disgusted by it and am shocked that he was employed by a reputable gym.
