To be loving the dtwins (10) XBox

Dtwins 10 have been nagging for one for ages.They're avid readers and very sensible re screens as I'm evil mummy and it's rationed so they clubbed all their bday money together and had one for their bday.

It's fab!!

Loving Kinnect Adventures(all 5 of us were rafting Sat night)and they're all doing Quiditch round the room as I type on the Harry Potter Kinnect. Minecraft is fab too.

They're all playing together instead of separately on those tiny Ipod things.

Am I going to live to regret the purchase?

No dp has made a list of games not coming in the house,that is on it.

We are pretty ruthless.

Had heard so many bad things re XBoxes I've been pleasantly surprised so far.

Tell me more re XBox live.

I love it. We actually play all together for once. With children between 16-5, this isn't common. I'm a bit annoyed that it took an Xbox to make it happen, but it's great fun!

I love my Xbox the main reason is that I have a sky app so can watch all the sky movies and certain live tv with no additional cost.

Xbox gold is fantastic.

YANBU, I love video games aimed at all age groups.

And so do my 57 year old DPs.

I love mine.

I like Games such as Fable, Skyrim, etc and DH like the golf/football games.

Be prepared to have to confiscate it when they are teens. Fable and the Oblivion and Skyrim games are incredible though.

I love our XBox. But we haven't bothered to buy into XBox Live at the moment as DCs are 9 and 5.

Xbox Minecraft is very educational dontcha know?

(I like the Zumba game too - helped me get fit).
