I am very confused.

I dunno I saw a thread with 1003 messages last week!

I was looking for one particular posting and forgot myself , actually I forgot that thread is soooo old. I think I responded to another one Aswell..... O. I really need my [ cake]

I think the 1003 was explained as numerous posters posting at the same time at the end of a thread - but that one was last posted on in July.

Until Broken came along with her mysterious posting ways and all that.

I've seen this a lot recently, I think on the Christmas threads.

If you have a thread open and unrefreshed at (say) 998 you will still be able to post, even if it's already gone to 1000 in real time. We used to do it in FWR to piss off the trolls.

Brokensoul commented on my original bridezilla thread. It had already hit 1000 months ago so definitely wasn't as LRD explained.

It's very odd.

Something odd is going on. I saw the deleted "teachers are all whinging numpties" thread all highlighted in a red box at the top of AIBU earlier.

They are going to leave the back door to the mods forum open very soon I think. The one where they all chat about us.

So are the techies on holiday or something? Or have they run out of redbull?

Was feeling all warm and smug thinking I had got final say (1000th comment) on the stupid Dubai thread and then saw someone had added anthother comment 1001. pfft!

Broken, threads stop at 1000. I think it's so they don't become so massive and take ages to load up or something terribly technical like that.

Does anyone else remember when the mods board accidentally appeared (by name only) on the list?

I'm a moderator elsewhere and a secret forum to discuss annoying posters / trolls is a standard part of the software.

A tech problem left it all open once and it was carnage interesting.

I don't remember it but it sounds potentially interesting.
