To think people should have some respect when some one dies

A "friend" on Facebook has posted a few things in the last few days that I don't agree with.

Close friend of mine died 2 weeks ago. This "friend" on Facebook hated him - no reason.
"Friend" posted on Facebook 'just because the wanker died doesn't mean I'll be polite & nice about him'

"Friend" was in a hit & run car crash which killed a cyclist. Posted on Facebook & telling people
'The daft bitch should have had lights then she'd be alive as we would have seen her'

I confront her about those two posts as I felt she should

1. Have some respect as 2 people died
2. At least not post it on Facebook if u feel like that

I've removed her and reported her posts. Also sent a copy to the police as they are looking for the hit & run that killed the cyclist. The idiot put all details on Facebook that matched the police report

That is not a person I would want to be friends with.

It is about respecting the grieving process for those affected by that persons death and not wanting to cause further anguish to them.

If someone cannot do that, I agree, I wouldn't want to be friends with them, it shows a massive lack of empathy, so you would wonder what they are capable of towards you, tbh.

I agree that if you didn't like someone when they were alive then that shouldn't change when they die, but she really has no need to be discussing it like that on Facebook. Some thoughts are better left in your head.

Holy shit, that's awful. Sounds like the fucker who hit a cyclist during a race, drove off and then tweeted about it. Copy any and all posts before she deletes them for back up if the police need it.

She should have reported it to the police ASAP. I don't know if it preventing to course of justice or something else, but it is a serious offence.

The "daft bitch" might be alive if they'd stopped and helped/called an ambulance. I'd tell her that and then block her and hope she goes to jail for been involved in the accident.

She was a passenger during a car crash, where the driver (who she hates and is slagging off) died, as did a cyclist, and it was a hit and run? Or was the person she hates just another passenger? In which case, there is a driver who has killed someone (repo people) and is getting away with it.
