To spy on my DD in Mcdonalds

went in earlier and my DD wanted to sit alone and this shifty looking person with a child went to chat with my DD .I subsequently spied on my DD for 35 minutes to see whether the person chatting with my DD was ok.Was IBU for spying on her like this?
