Sorry for the title but sitting having TV time with the kids and two games pop up which my kids immediately want. Gooey Louie - pull the goo till his brains pop out!
Doggie doo (I think this is what it's called) - feed the dog and poop the scoop!
AIBU to ask is this what we're reduced to?! (I know I am but still....)

Sorry...should have previewed before posting, I meant scoop the poop. The other way would hurt.

And pig goes pop

My girls had gooey louie when they were young, it was gross and great fun at the same time x, good luck

How old are your kids? we buy family board games that we can all enjoy... our current favourite is Catan - it is simple enough for the kids to understand, but has strategy as well as luck, less long than monopoly. we also love Munchkins, a card game with funny cards (a fantasy deck or sci fi deck)... We avoid games that are painfully dull because the kids are going to beg for adults to play. the dog poor one sounds godawful.

Ooh, I love Munchkin and Catan! So much fun, easy to grasp and child friendly. Risk is a little more involved, but still good fun.

I'm a big Cluedo fan, it really gets the analytical part of the brain working.

Maybe try Buckaroo, I remember that being good fun. And see if they still make Pop-up Pirate, it's the same idea as Gooey Louie but much less gross. Had one when I was a kid, but I have no idea if you can still get it.

My DH & I were laughing at the poop scoop one the other night when it came on telly. Who on earth thought it would be a good idea to design a game of picking up dog shit?! Unless it's to teach kids about cleaning up after their pets? Still weird though! Grin

Winter I never had a Mr Frosty machine either. I asked for one every year but never got one Hmm

Sister77 · 26/09/2013 00:37

And me! I BEGGED for a Mr Frosty but never got one, it was all about the little penguin that you got.
Pop up pirate and buckaroo sound ok and one of dds friends have got a game called frustration which seems quite good.
My "d" husband pulled out an electric shock game today, the last one to press gets an electric shock. It's in the bin and him and the DC are annoyed!

Frustration is very popular here, its one of the only ones we can all enjoy which doesn't take forever like monopoly. When mine were little I got pop up pirate from a charity shop, I see them in there now and again. Another one they loved was greedy gorilla because of the rude belch noise when you feed him a junk food card.Grin sister electric shock game! shocking
