I made friends recently with a another new mum at the local baby group. Her baby is a week younger than mine. She's a nice girl and we have been texting past few days.

This morning she text me to say her LO can't settle at night, she's having trouble coping and what do I do to calm ds down at night. I meant to reply "lots and lots of songs" But my stupid big fingers missed the S and I ended up writing

"Lots and lots of dongs!!!!"

Blush Blush
And of course I would send the text before I noticed the mistake!!!

Ahhhh one of those bloody days!!!

Oh that just made me chuckle out loud. At work. People are looking at me strangely. Grin

Could have been worse, you could've written "lots of bongs". As in the instrument some use to smoke cannabis through.

Lots and lots of Dongs before bedtime would have the opposite affect to calming on me

Teeheeheeheee · 23/09/2013 12:54

Grin That is funny though! wUrgh, this is so annoying when it happens. I remember communicating with a male ex-colleague once via text messages and writing "give me a sex", instead of "give me a sec"... . It was an obvious typo, but I was still embarrassed.

Tee hee. I would just send a follow-up text saying "obviously I meant songs.... oops".

I once sent a kiss on the end of a text to the (actually quite sexy) sports club man - I know how you feel OP!
