Just saw an episode of it on YouTube and thought Geoffrey was much more attractive than I remembered. Aibu?

I loved Geoffrey and George, I hated Bungle and Zippy. RJ&F were just annoying, like when Mr Bennett started ruining Take Hart.

I once heard someone say when you meet Cameron Diaz up close she looks like Zippy.

I remember Zippy when rainbow first started. He was utterly horrible (but in a way that made children like him!) He was definitely toned down and made a bit better behaved in the later series. While on the subject, does anyone remember Pipkins? Hartley Hare was a similar character IIRC.

The guy who does George and Zippy (Ronnie Le Drew) is alive and well and put on a show for a friends' mother's 75th birthday recently.

He had pics on FB of them popping up from behind the sofa. It was surreal.

It was Roy Skelton who voiced Zippy and George. Died in 2011.

I have just watched pipkins episode ' Hartley hate goes to the dentist' on U Tube. fantastic and much better than ironing. Grin
