DH will take a pile of clean washing upstairs and put it straight down on the sheet of the unmade bed. I think this is a) a bit gross and b) fucking irritating as I have to move the pile to make the bed.

He also only takes the 'right' amount of cash over the shop instead of a card or his whole wallet. Which means often he comes back without all the things he went over there for Confused.

These things annoy me, not enough to DO anything about but just enough to make me scowl.

Nope! YANBU at all. See also: my DH leaving his open tin of tobacco next to the sink and then whinging like a liitle girl complaining when it gets wet. Not my problem. Wink

This is reminding me of the 'poo crumbs' thread
Yuk!

My dh likes the frothy coffees that come in sachets, just pour the hot water and stir jobs. He opens the packet, makes his coffee, leaves packet on side. The bin is just a few feet away. Small stuff but it ticks me off every time.

yes DH

DP never, ever replaces the toilet roll. We've been together for 40 years so I guess it will never happen :)

LondonInHighHeeledBoots · 21/09/2013 22:00

Dp naps. That's fine. But he spends 2 hours or more of most sat and Sundays asleep, annoying in itself. Then stays up late at night and won't come to bed with me as he's not tired, and I hate not going to sleep with him, I have crippling anxiety half the bloody time and him being there is usually enough for it to abate enough for me to sleep. it really really winds me up. If you can't get to sleep drop the nap! ffs he's not a bloody toddler. rant over.

When OH has used his favourite brew cup and wants a drink later in the day, he'd rather use his 2nd favourite cup (my cup) than wash his own...then has me wash both when I come in wanting a drink.

He also refuses to roll his cigs on the tray I bought him, fills the tray with post and leaves bits of tobacco smegging everywhere.

He also has the nerve to wake the dog if he's snoring...despite him keeping me up for hours every night with snoring 10 times louder.

I could continue this for hours.

It's a saying not a DP thing - 'have your cake and eat it'

Well who the fuck doesn't eat the cake?!?! What else is the point in getting cake?!

Of course I want to have my cake and eat it. I will have it until it is gone in which case I will have it and eat it and then I will not have it and not eat it!!!

MIL steps inside our house and immediately begins a barrage of questions.

SockQueen · 21/09/2013 22:52

When DH opens a new milk bottle, it seems he is completely incapable of putting the foil/plastic top covering thing in the bin. Always on the side. Why?

DH telling visiting kids to 'pop' their shoes off when they come in the house.
