A product described as a 'cotbed duvet set' to contain a cotbed size duvet cover and a cotbed size pillow case?

I am aware obviously that this is not a major issue, but genuine question?

The company involved sells cotbed duvets and cotbed pillows separately.

AIBU?

Yanbu!!! If its too big that's not so bad but I got some too small :(

OHforDUCKScake · 19/09/2013 18:04

It should though, shouldnt it?

Otherwise it isnt a 'set' its simply a duvet cover.

bundaberg · 19/09/2013 18:05

yes if it's described as a "set" it should contain more than one item. in this case one would not be unreasonable to expect it to be a duvet cover and pillowcase

Oops Blush completely mis read post.

Still yanbu

Sorry should have been clearer, it does contain a pillow case but it is for a standard size pillow, not a cotbed size, smaller pillow.

This is a second set that I am buying, I have already been using the first, having bought a cotbed pillow and duvet, I now do not want to have to buy a standard pillow, and swap the pillows when I change the sheets!

ohh sorry, I see.

perhaps they have found that most people use regular pillows and that it makes more sense to put a regular size case in?
i've bought cot bed sets that have come with a cot bed size pillow case though. (annoyingly i used a regular pillow so never used it lol)

bundaberg · 19/09/2013 18:17

does the company sell only things that are its own brand? i'm wondering if their own cotbed pillows are larger than standard and so need larger cases in which case that would explian it?

ThoughtsPlease · 19/09/2013 18:32

No the cotbed pillows they sell are the smaller cotbed size.

I think that they should have stated clearly that the 'cotbed duvet set' did not contain a cotbed size duvet cover and cotbed size pillow case. It gives dimensions of the duvet cover but not the pillow case. I clearly wrongly assumed that they would both be cotbed size, any sets I bought for my 2 elder children always contained the cotbed size.

Had I known I would not have bought the set, and now according to the company I have to send it back at my own cost.
