I sent a happy birthday message to an old friend (we do chat and comment on each others posts) she 'liked' it.
Fair enough. Smile

But all the other 24 posters got a 'Thankyou' comment. Sad

So I know ibvu to be a bit hurt but it does!

Dear god, get a grip.

Ragwort · 17/09/2013 08:20

Seriously, this is the sort of thing you worry about?

I have never ever used FB, have absolutely no wish to - why do so many people seem to live their life through FB? Hmm.

Did you send her a card through the post, the old fashioned way? Grin.

This is why I deleted my account.

It should be called Headfuckbook.

The fb haters get my goat. It's here, people use it... a lot of people use it.... a lot of the time.

Least she kind of acknowledged it op... ive had a few ignorers :-D just wait til your birthday!

Chocoflakes · 17/09/2013 08:36

see I knew I was over thinking, firm grip has been applied! Grin

I need to keep facebook at arms length, and have had been ignored on my birthday (on fb and in the real world) by people who I had considered my real friends.

starting to hate the thing tbh.

An oversight, that is all, when there are loads of messages it's easy to miss one, as for not getting 'happy birthday' messages, well, did they all used to get you a card?
Maybe they didn't go on FB on your special day Shock

Nowt wrong with FB, only the people who use it.
