i have this brother who is 32 and has spent the last 15 years getting stoned on strong weed in his bedroom.....he was pushed into studying and supported thro to an MA by the parents, and does have a job now but has never left home or had a partner, or indeed seen a bill.
He still goes on holiday with the parents.
Our 77 year old father has to drive him to work cos he doesn't drive and will not use the bus.

I wouldn't really mind but last time my children stayed there he was quite nasty to my 14 year old son about how he had to give him his 'yearly haircut' - (he is handy with the clippers and did give my son a clip or two over the years) as though i was some kind of neglectful mother or something, as well as making comments about DS being 'oblivious to the outside world' which coming from him was a bit rich!
put up and shut up or say something about the nasty comments?

I don't think I'd have been able to stifle my laughter to be honest. So in my case I would have said something

Sounds like the 15 years getting stoned has had a negative effect. A sad loser not worth bothering about, unfortunately for him.

yes it is laughable but sadly i was not there.....so it might be a bit petty to bring it up now?
