To be fed up with several calls a day...

Over the past few days, I've had several calls to my mobile from an 0800 number - 0800 7838731. i generally ignore calls from 0800 numbers, they're usually unwanted marketing calls, but this one has called 3 times/day so I picked up - could hear noisy office in the background but no-one on the line. I want to know who they are and why they keep ringing! Googling the number hasn't helped. Grrrr!!

I googled and found this www.411phonesearch.co.uk/08007838731-phone-number

make any sense or no? looks like a scam maybe. I have no idea how to do it but I think it's possible to block numbers on a mobile.

According to "Who calls me" it is a company trying to deliver something to you. Have you ordered anything?

A personal injury company keeps calling me off an 0800 number. It pisses me off. Not only do I not know where they got my number from, but I haven't been in any sort of accident either so why they keep calling I don't know.

I also get calls from blocked numbers and answer in case it's something important, but usually it's a gas company wanting me to switch suppliers or a glass company asking if I want new windows (I did an Internet search about five years ago for new windows, got them the same year, and still the company keeps calling?!)

Bloody annoying Angry

vodkajelly, it's anxiety about missing a possibly wanted call like that, that made me pick up once - but there was no-one there! Besides, wouldn't they leave a voicemail if they needed to contact me? Can't think of any outstanding deliveries...
