Oh how hilarious, they are at kids' football. the Mum is driving the car Shock she forgets a child, but here's the twist-the child is a very pretty GIRL. Shock Who gets into the car holding a football. Hmm

AIBU to think contrived is an understatement?

I thought she forgot her son was having a 'girl' friend round?

Sparklingbrook · 14/09/2013 09:39

I had assumed it was the daughter? Grin

I dont care..I just want a Zinger burger when I watch it

superbagpuss · 14/09/2013 09:41

I just hate the advert full stop

especially as a veggie nothing at KFC I can eat so it doesn't feed a family Confused

Sparklingbrook · 14/09/2013 09:42

That's what I thought kim and she had to have long blonde hair and be v pretty.

In RL she would be covered head to toe in mud and the Mum would be yelling to 'KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE MATS!!' and made to sit on a bin liner all the way home.

I'd swap DD for a bargain bucket about now. Smile

Lorelilee · 14/09/2013 09:45

To be fair, if they'd done it the 'traditional' way, they would have been slated for that too. 'Tis just an ad, don't over think it.

Sparklingbrook · 14/09/2013 09:46

I think it struck a chord as I have been trudging about to junior footy for years and it is nothing like that. At all. Angry

The girls do do tend to tie their hair up before playing too.

Ad companies can't win can they! They are either stereotypes or trying too hard not to be stereotypes!

The only thing I have noticed about a KFC ad recently is how massive that meal for one they are advertising is!

Sparklingbrook · 14/09/2013 09:54

I think it is a rubbish advert whether the forgotten person is a boy or a girl TBH. Grin

KFC is the least worst fast food IMO.

HeffalumpTheFlump · 14/09/2013 11:14

Rubbish advert, but I agree with sirzy! They can't win with you lot.

Oh and as a massively pregnant woman that bucket for one looks just about right. Grin

Alisvolatpropiis · 14/09/2013 11:17

I don't ever really see the people in KFC adverts. I are the food and want it.

I want KFC now after just thinking about it. Grin

Sparklingbrook · 14/09/2013 11:17

More realistic would be good-sheet rain, mud everywhere, everyone in a foul mood due to huge loss in the match, and a silent car journey home.

I had a KFC yesterday. Their coleslaw is the best!

Sparklingbrook · 14/09/2013 11:20

Don't forget the gravy SPs.

MurderOfGoths · 14/09/2013 11:20

Ah damn you, now I'm craving KFC.. too ill to go into town, why the bollocks isn't there a drive thru KFC nearby??

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 14/09/2013 11:22

Gravy is rank!

Just coleslaw for me and a 2 piece meal. Diets going great btw

YouTheCat · 14/09/2013 11:23

Why don't they deliver?

MurderOfGoths · 14/09/2013 11:25

Because they are mean YouTheCat, just plain mean

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 14/09/2013 11:26

If you are willing to pay over the odds and are in certain areas then One Delivery (they have a website) will deliver Wagamamas, Nandos, Mcds, KFC etc

MurderOfGoths · 14/09/2013 11:32

Oh arse, I'm too far south..

Surely I can find someone who'll take pity on an ill pregnant woman with very strong cravings..? Probably not

Alisvolatpropiis · 14/09/2013 11:57

One Delivery does not operate in Wales.

This has upset me!

Moving immediately.
