I have a bath in the afternoon?

Bit weird to ask but does anyone else chill out in the bath after school pick up? I work part-time and the days I am off I am busy cleaning/decorating/gardening. Often around 3.30 ish I get really tired & love a warm bath!! Most of my friends seem to think its crazy! But my kids just want to chill out in front of TV or play Lego or in the garden - so a natural pause! Then it's tea, home work bla bla. Am I selfish? What does everyone else do?

Sounds like a good plan.

Have a glass of wine too.

I used to do this, too. It was lovely.

Sounds good to me! I regularly did this when I was a student or working part time and had a free couple of hours. As long as everybody is occupied and you're not locking yourself in there while your kids climb the walls then I don't see the problem.

Do whatever the hell you like!
If it suits you and yours I would enjoy it!
I think that a lot of people don't or can't pause, they always have too much to do.
I think relaxing is just as important as chores/work.

I don't ever want to have a bath but if thats what you enjoy doing in the natural pause then its lovely Smile

Nothing wrong with that. Your friends are crazy to suggest that it's crazy. Whatever works for you all is fine, surely?

YANBU!
