To be gutted I got a BFN even though we weren't TTC?

All the usual signs were there and monthly still hadn't arrived. Was feeling quite scared at first as we hadn't talked about having another baby just yet. Then started to feel excited that DD might have a DB/Dsis abd came round to the idea of a new little one.

But just got 2 BFN's and actually feel quite sad about it
:( monthly still hasn't arrived and is usually can be late anyway.

That's a really common reaction. You had started to fantacise about a sibling for your DD which makes it real IYSWIM. I'm sorry you got bfn but maybe its a sign that you want to TTC.

YANBU. I thought I may have been pregnant again when my DD was just four months old. All the signs were there but no, BFN. We weren't trying either. I was a bit gutted too, mainly because once you think you could be you build it all up in your head and think of all the positives, so the crash back down to earth can be hard.

On the plus side though the whole thing got DH & I talking about when we would actually like to start trying, and we're agreed on the timing etc now. It's nice to have that to look forward to.

....I went to my nurse app a fortnight ago for next dose of depo injection. .While there she gave me a talk on how long it would take to leave my body and effects on ttc.

Up until then I was adamant no more for a LONG time.

I had the injection. .and now, two weeks later all I can think about is baby number 2 two and I wish id never had that injection. I've got to wait three month before I can even think about getting pregnant. . and then who knows how long it'll take for this crap to leave my body.

Sorry I can see how you would be disappointed, happened to me too when i was a little late.

What is BFN?

Negative pregnancy test ginger - big fat negative.

I feel so pregnant, bloated, tiredness, leaky boobs, putting on weight etc, but I have the implant and have to two negative pregnancy tests. Still feel pregnant though and need to go to the doctors (to work out what is causing symptoms) but dispite it being the complete wrong time I not life I know I'm going to be disappointed to have it confirmed there is no baby :-(

Sorry posted too soon, meant to say that I completely sympathise OP, but maybe it's a sign you might be ready to start trying for baby 2?
