To disney land during term time....most people know its cheaper during term time, obviously they have to make their money but with the crackdown on holidays during term time surely somebody high up should be banning these adverts?
bloody guilt tripping everyone too 'with 40% off now you can say yes

thebody · 07/09/2013 13:22

We know a couple who went for their honeymoon 22 years ago and who have been every year since and their DC are 18 and 20 now. And they have gone in the school holidays. They are otherwise lovely people.

Their DC have always enjoyed a stateley home visit and their dd is excited about a cultural trip to Italy at October half term. Our DC have done lots of european culture and hanker now after Ianappa (sp) and feel quite deprived that they have only had a long weekend to eurodisney.

Funny how the DC turn out wanting what they never had.

HeySoulSister · 07/09/2013 14:31

life doesn't revolve around the school system op!! not for everyone...

CoffeeTea103 · 07/09/2013 15:34

So what about couples, young kids and people on holiday? Not everyone's lives revolves around school terms.

mrsjay · 07/09/2013 16:49

this remind me of a thread where the poster thought the surprise disney advert was unfair on people who couldn't afford to surprise their children Confused

EllesAngel · 07/09/2013 16:52

Some parents home school so they might like to go during term time.

candycoatedwaterdrops · 07/09/2013 18:24

YABU. Some people home school or have younger children and I know this will get me flamed but some us grown ups enjoy Disneyland. Wink

BackforGood · 07/09/2013 18:31

YABU.
Why not go the whole hog and ban adverts for anything you can't do / can't afford ?
