To think a John Lewis refund should not take 10 working days?

Bought some birthday presents from John Lewis but the boxes were all bashed so had to return them. That was on Sunday 1st. Have just phoned them - 0845 number of course - and it's going to take another 3 working days. We've a load of family stuff happening and I was counting on having had MY money back by now.

Sometimes it can be quicker but the ten days will be to let you know that it can take that long for the refund process to go through especially if it was a return by post.It can also depend on who you bank with.

It was click and collect at Waitrose and I payed through Paypal. I'll have to borrow some money from dh and I've never had to do that before. Curses on you John Lewis .

John Lewis.com raise my blood pressure, I've never had worse customer service. Doubly disappointing because everyone talks about how great they are, so I'm assuming I'm just very unlicky.

I don't see why not. It's taken them nearly 10 months to refund me on a purchase made in January.
