To think it's not the co-op that I crave

Long hard stressful week has ended, so dh said he'd pop out for some treats. Asked me what I wanted, and I requested some nice biscuits. Something nice and chocolatey I said, the co-op irresistable ones are good, but anything close if he can't get them.

So he's come back in with biscuits, co-op irresistable oatmeal ones. I don't like oatmeal. I tried to look grateful, and said, 'oh don't worry, is that all they had?' He said they only had these and nutty ones in that range (I like nuts). But no choccy ones at all? Loads of choccy ones, he said, but all the others were different makes.

That's the actions of a madman right? Clearly it's chocolate I need to soothe my soul, not the co-op!! Next time he asks me to pick up tescos pork pies, I may purchase tescos floor cleaner, because that's the next best thing, in fact almost exactly the same!

He could get a job as one of those supermarket selectors for home deliveries! He's got skillz!

Sounds like my DH, a real talent for listening to precisely half of what I say

WaffleVersatile Grin

DH is well trained. He knows if he is sent to the shop for munches only choccie will do!!

He's grumping now. Says it took him ages to find them amongst all the hoardes of chocolate ones. Says I shouldn't have mentioned co-op if that wasn't the important bit. The man has known me for 10 years!

Lol! Grounds for divorce?

The option of chocolate, and he goes for oatmeal?! PMSL!

Hmm YABU.. Oatmeal cookies are the best ever!!!

Oatmeal and raisin cookies (ideally morticians ones) are the best!! Grin

Nicknameinvalid · 06/09/2013 21:14

MORRISONS... MORRISONS not morticians.. Hmm I don't hang out at funeral homes hoping for cookies! N

NeoMaxiZoomDweebie · 06/09/2013 22:21

YABU if you really needed chocolate you'd not be poncing about with biscuits! You'd demand a slab of Galaxy!

BuntyPenfold · 06/09/2013 23:26

Mortician's Finest....

no, don't fancy them.
