I want to watch The White Queen. It had subtitles when it was on TV.
Just looked for it on Apple TV, and it's there but without the closed captioning. Turns out that very little Apple TV content has closed captioning (and apparently it often doesn't work even when it's flagged as having it).
I can't watch TV without closed captioning. Every DVD has it, and the majority of TV programmes. Why does Apple not stream it? I feel really cross about this, it seems so unnecessarily discriminatory. Also, I really want to watch the White Queen (my recording went wrong, so only saw the first episode). Grrrrrrr.
