Cosatto customer services are ignoring me

AIBU to wonder what I should do next....I am trying to return my buggy under Cosatto's 4 year guarantee, but having agreed to collect it from me I am now being totally ignored and it is driving me nuts. I need it repaired or replaced asap.

I had emailed them via their website, gave a description of the problem, and they said they would pick up whenever I wanted for repair or replacement, I should just give 24 hrs notice. So far so good.

Then I requested it be picked up on Monday. No one replied to that email to confirm a collection. I emailed again on Monday morning requesting that they confirm whether or not it was being collected on Monday. No reply to my email, and no one turned up to collect.

I sent a very polite email Monday evening requesting collection Thursday instead (today). I said please could they acknowledge my email and confirm via email it would be collected Thursday....no reply.

Last night I contacted them, via a separate area of the website, to complain about the fact my emails are being ignored and I said please could they contact me urgently to confirm whether it would be collected today.

I received an automated email back saying, guess what, they would get back to me within 24 hrs. NO ONE HAS. And no one came to collect the pushchair today either.

So now I have no idea what to do as my contact in customer services AND it seems the person dealing with complaints are both ignoring me.......so what do I do now??

(besides have a rant here obviously) Grin

But I am so annoyed as one of the reasons I bought a pushchair from them was the 4 year guarantee, and this is giving me zero confidence that they are actually going to repair it or replace it for me.

Social media is your friend. Twitter or Facebook.

I had to do this with John Lewis just before Christmas. Their customer services via the telephone were useless. I posted on their Facebook wall and it was sorted out in a day. I'd been trying to sort it out via phone for a week almost.

Ah, didn't think of a face book page or Twitter - I shall try that...

Thanks for replying - it's quite boring I know so I thought maybe MN would ignore me also Grin
