She can sense your stress Grin

Poor you. I'm not even ill, but DS2's (to be fair, reasonably rare) "Non-Sleeping Spawn of Satan" impression is wearing a little thin!

Mainly because I just made a major novice error.

Went in, calmed him down and did the whole "mummy will come back in a minute" thing. He calmed down, I thought I better keep my promise and accordingly trooped back in, just as he was on the verge of dropping off to sleep.

Non-Sleeping Spawn of Satan is now back in the building.

That's the last time I keep my promise to a small child...

DD is 13 days old. Since she was born DS has decided he doesn't need to go to sleep when put to bed. This is causing more stress in our marriage than any of the newborn problems.

He's a totally knackered toddler and he's being a grumpy arse through the day too due to lack of sleep.

kungfupannda · 04/09/2013 19:47

Oh poor all of you. I shouldn't be flippant - it's no fun when they really, really won't sleep.

YouTheCat · 04/09/2013 19:50

Get your own back when they are teens. I have. Grin

In the mean time there is

themagicroundabout · 04/09/2013 20:05
