He said he'd be late home from work as he had to drop some work things off to his friend, fair enough. He said he'd probably be in around 5:30...this is also fair enough.

It's now 6:45pm and I've just called him to see where he is and he's round said friends house, quite oblivious of the time, the fact that I've cooked for him, put his washing away, hoovered and am now about to put the kids to bed, not to mention being at work today too.

I went out at the weekend and didn't text him to tell him I was going into town for a few more drinks. Is this karma?!

No, just him getting his own back, I think. Hmm

What goes around comes around.

AcidNails · 03/09/2013 18:59

Karma, erm no. It's also not a huge deal either!

AnneUulmelmahay · 03/09/2013 19:25

Honey why are you putting away his washing?

The rest, well kids have to be fed and watered, etc, bedtime routine adhered to, hard after a day at the coalface

What did he indicate on the phone? On his way?

Leave his dinner in a bowl on the side, DON'T put his washing away and get on with your evening.

Yes, it's shut having to do bedtime when you're tired and want your partner to be there helping, but shit happens. If this is a one off, I'd let it go.

shit

My iPhone doesn't like it when I swear :)
