6 hours of prime childcare in place; triple stacked deadlines looming over me.... Let me see....

AIBU to think that cats should exercise some modesty when suckling their kittens?

AIBU to nick my neighbours plasma TV to pay my tax bill? ( cos it's my taxes that paid for it in the first place!)

AIB-entrepreneurial to sell Fruit Shoots through the gates at my DC school?

I was thinking about starting a Liz Jones thread, haven't seen one for a while. Also think I should put a block on my firewall to stop me sitting in this site when my house is a tip

Beastofburden · 03/09/2013 14:04

So we cant hunt trolls but we can bait them?

Gawd MN is a complicated place. See if Olivia needs maternity leave cover.

SoleSource · 03/09/2013 15:33

Oh the irony Parsing

ParsingFancy · 03/09/2013 15:41

Grin sole.

I have just done some gardening in order to put off having to do nothing...

FrussoHathor · 03/09/2013 15:46

Aibu to Botox my Persian? And my neighbours British bulldog whilst I'm at it?

HerrenaHarridan · 03/09/2013 19:41

Did you get your work done Smile

WetGrass · 03/09/2013 20:46

Nope. Not a happy bunny at work. Cannae do it. It's too hard.

& lost the evening to counselling DD through a homework-related emotional breakdown (the irony!) via a bubble bath for her & mini magnums for two.

So, successful work avoidance all day then? Grin

WetGrass · 04/09/2013 12:22

sigh

And another work avoiding day ahead!

Whatever did we do before MN?

Its OK, it will rain on Friday. the worst thing about coming back to work this week has been looking at all that loverly weather outside the office window Envy

Beastofburden · 04/09/2013 12:25

ps my boss got back today. Never mind post holiday blues, she seems to have post holiday psychosis, she is all hyper, thankfully not stabby though.

BlackeyedSusan · 04/09/2013 12:30

oi you hairy handed troll face, what do you mean diet coke for your trollette? proper mners would give 'em fruitshoot

now is that more like the response you were looking for? Grin

ParsingFancy · 04/09/2013 12:36

AIBU to tell you I'm doing nothing again today?

(Only because I'm paying for not managing to do nothing yesterday, but we'll gloss over that).

WetGrass · 04/09/2013 12:46

Actually - I have infected my DC with this malaise.

Yesterday night I had to spring in on Dd that I'd misread the calendar & school started again TOMORROW.

Poor love... spent four hours finishing homework & then missed breakfast to do some more this morning. I threatened to keep driving unless I saw some toast go down her throat....!

must not go to office chocolate machine

must not go to office chocolate machine

(sits on hands)

WetGrass · 04/09/2013 14:43

Pshaw!

I spent a happy half an hour refreshing my on-desk biscuit tin.

Why waste valuable procrastination time and risk avoidable exercise?

OP posts:
Beastofburden · 04/09/2013 16:01

still resisting

bananas are just not the same. There is a risk I will eat two bananas and still go to the chocolate machine
