To have gagged reading "Terrible Trolls"?

I'm sure some of you mums will be familiar with this book. For those of you who are not it is a tactile/ sensory book with different trolls on each page (google
It). Some trolls you can pull their hair, some you can feel their rough skin etc.

At the end of the book there is a troll who has smelly under arms. I was reading this book to the kids at work today and my colleague encouraged me to take a sniff. The cover of the book even said "a scratch and sniff ending". Thinking that its only a children's book it won't be that bad I took a big whiff of it [puke emoticom].

It is fucking vile and I nearly threw up! My colleagues all had a good laugh at it while the colour from my face slowly drained!

YaNBU. reminds me of the time a smell was in my house, i pulled out the fridge, went through every cupboard, bleached stuff just in case. It turned out to be a 'stinkhead' toy that one of my boys had for their birthday a few days earlier. it smelled like raw sewage!

Thanks for posting this - it sounds absolutely perfect for a girl in my class. Going to look on amazon now. Can't wait to sniff the armpit..

Haha Grin it's horrible isn't it? My three love it.

Honestly, I couldn't even look at the book after that as the offending troll and his stinky armpits are on the cover!
