I've torn a disk in my spine about 3 weeks ago. Today was the second time of seeing my osteopath, I am worse than when I went in.

quite possible she has made the joint more mobile and you are not used to it moving. However that's better in the long run that having it locked. Mention it on your next visit.

Sadly working on the joints can be painful especially at first. Most osteos are sympathetic and alert to signs of pain and will pause if you ask.

IME osteopathy does a lot of good for joints, and a tremendous improvement to bad backs and stiff necks.

If you drive a car, look over your shoulder next time you reverse, and see if the movement has improved after treatment.
