to wear strips to a funeral?

Just a quick one. It's my grandpa's funeral next week, I thought I could just wear an old black dress but I tried it on last night and there is no way I could get my boob out to feed baby ds.

I'm frantically looking for something to wear. Would stripes be inappropriate? I'm thinking a black skirt, tights and shoes and a black and white striped jumper.

Just getting a coffee o contemplate the options.

Funerals are so personal nowadays only you know if your family would be happy with that. I certainly don't think it's inappropriate at all, but then the last two funerals I've been to have requested no black at all so it's a bit of a minefield now.

I lost my Nan earlier in the year and wore a black dress but had little white spots on it. It was fine x

I wore navy white stripes to my auntys funeral when BF DD as it was the only suitable top I had. No one seemed outraged

That's for tge advice, I bought the top and a top with zebras on for ds.

Anyone who would criticise a granddaughter wearing stripes to their own granddads funeral wouldn't be worth my time. I'm sure your granddad wouldn't want you upset over it all, especially with you having a baby recently.
