we have been on holiday and as usual took our bedding.

my eldest son lost his last baby tooth while we were there and showed it to us one morning. then he couldn't find anywhere.

fast forward to 10 mins ago.
I'm sitting in my bed, eating lunch, waiting for DD to fall asleep.
curtains drawn, so not much light to see by.

I drop a bit of my food on the duvet.
I pick it up and put it in my mouth.
and I bite on something odd, it feels like a little pebble.
so I take it out and there it is, my son's tooth! Shock
his tooth! In.My.Mouth! eeeewwww!

WTAF?Confused

he must have dropped it on the duvet and we carried it back (what would Grissom think of the likelihood of that!Grin )

AIBU to feel yuck?

(I'm struggling to finish my lunch as it's multigrain bread so there are hardish bits in it..)

On the face of it, that doesn't sound too bad. Then I thought about it and remembered just how much I HATE teeth (lost, not in my mouth) and YANBU at all! Ewwww.

UriGeller · 29/08/2013 04:43

You must have a thing. I don't find that remotely gross.

Runningchick123 · 29/08/2013 07:59

Did you not wash the bedding when you arrived back from holiday?

In any case it's just a tooth, belonging to your own flesh and blood, you will survive.

Icelollycraving · 29/08/2013 09:36

I find the fact you haven't washed your bedding more gross I'm afraid! unless that wily tooth went through the wash

mammmamia · 29/08/2013 09:40

Why do you take your own bedding on holiday? Were you camping?

thebody · 29/08/2013 09:42

yes why do you take your own bedding?

for me one of the holiday joys is no washing sheets.

my ds vomited in my mouth when he was little!
