DH downstairs watching the F1 and I am luxuriating on clean sheets catching up on celeb Masterchef with an Eccles cake and a cup of tea

Cleaner came on Friday so lovely clean house. Feeling very content and happy

I worked last night, had a few hours sleep this morning, and have had some cava.

So bed is feeling goood.

I do this every Sunday! Have a long soak at 8 and in bed by 8.30, asleep by 9. I wake up early on Monday full of beans and raring to go.

Entirely reasonable I'd say! There's nothing quite like a fresh bed and a book. I was really enjoying The Wedding Singer but might go to bed insted now...

I'm getting a new bed in Wednesday. I have clean bedding ready and waiting, and bought new jammies for the occasion.

I have a new duvet cover, Vera on the telly and just had chippie shop chips. All good.

Which is just as well as this week at work is bound to be hell.

I was in bed at 8.30. Took a slice of homemade carrot cake and a cup.of tea, plus a hot water bottle with me. Havent put fresh sheets on though, am very jealous.

Watching "You saw them here first" on catch up. Some corkers!

You know what I'm going to have a shower and get in bed too. I was sat looking at the washing up and thinking about the long list of jobs I had to do but fuck it! They can wait til the morning, I haven't gone to bed before midnight for months. Thank you OP for inspiring me to be a bit selfish for once!
