Agreed. Just counted and there's 57 stickies on my active convos at the moment. It does my head in.

I think it depends how you're browsing though - I only see them when I'm using the android app on my tablet. There's only a couple when I'm on the PC or the iPhone app. Strange...

I am on a laptop, you click on the '-' in the little box and never see the thread again. I have two stickies. I know MN has a loose rule about having 5 stickies. I don't know why people are seeing loads unless there's a problem with an App or something?!

CollieEye It's a thread (usually started by MN) that is 'stuck' at the top of a topic so everyone can see it and it doesn't 'fall off' the bottom of the list (important things like campaigns, lists of contact numbers for abused women, webchats etc). They have a little thing beside them so you can see they are 'stuck'.

Not sure how you are accessing MN, but I do it via android app and all the 'stickies' aka subtle advertising drove me mad.

Another MNer suggested logging out and logging in again. I did it and it reverted back to an acceptable level, five or so.

Hidden sorry, I don't have an Ipad so I can't help you. Why don't you report your post and see if tech can help?

Android app for me too. Can't seem to hide them in the app and hiding them on the website doesn't take them off on the app.

It's annoying too that they can't be hidden.

It's a glitch in the android app, tech said it's very fiddly to fix. If you delete and reinstall app they delete themselves.......for a while
