Have posted this in S&B but wanted to spread the word.

Gahhh. This product is flaky. I paid £250 for one of these hair removal systems in Feb 2012

www.my-no-no.com/uk/?

It stopped working April 2013 but I wrongly assumed I just needed to replace the thermicon tip. I have just got round to doing this. So I received my sparkly new tips last week. But the damn thing still wouldn't work.

I rang up the company yesterday and spoke to a manger. When I explained the technical issue it seemed like she knew exactly what the issue was in that she recognised straight away what the problem was.

She said that as I hadn't taken out an extended warranty there was nothing they could do except offer me a discount on a new No No system - £30 off (having a laugh right??).

I was also staggered when she said the machine was unfixable. I said that if I had realised how flaky the machine was I might have taken a warranty out on it.

I can't believe they cannot even attempt to fix it and that I have no recourse to solving this. What a way to waste £250!

Be very warned!

Sale of goods act.

O doubt know the ins and outs but someone will, or pop over to money saving expert, he'll keep you right.

Not acceptable on the slightest.

You need to call your Trading Standards Dept. this breaches the Sale of Goods Act.

Oh thank you ILetHim. They saw me coming, didn't they. Shit - it didn't even work effectively when it was running smoothly.

QVC offer a 90 day money back guarantee on this gadget because you need to use it daily for 3 months before you see results. That put me right off.

greensmoothiegoddess · 21/08/2013 21:03

May try that, stargirl.

It was quite effective with light blonde bumfluff/downy type of hair. But useless with anything else e.g. darker hair or hair with a stronger root. Totally useless.
