To Think Victoria's Secret isn't 'all that' ?

I was in London recently and had a look around Victoria's Secret.

Lovely, big, flashy store.

But the products? The bras were pretty - nice colours and designs. But all of them were in the £40/£50 price bracket. Knickers were very pretty, but soo overpriced.

So, are they all super duper hoik up the bosoms wonderful? Or just another overpriced product.

They're definitely over rated and over priced. They have some nice things, but no worth the hype.

We have a Victoria's Secret store in my city. It is the size of Brent Cross, yet they do not stock my size. And my size isn't that weird, either. Or maybe it is ...

Actually - they didn't stock my size either.

which makes me think they use the 'old' way of measuring.

I will stick to Debenhams Grin

Ooh I love it in there - but I don't buy the underwear, just the t shirts and jogging bottom type things! My dad lives in the US and the prices here are ridiculous so YANBU to think its overpriced. I stock up when we visit my DF.

Yonihadtoask · 18/08/2013 09:57

I did like the sweatshirts etc - some nice styles - but I did think they were also overpriced.

Will check out next time am in the US.

Nooooo it's terrible! I was shocked when it opened here and was hyped up as something amazing. Every bra I bought there when I was at university was abysmal - the cups are either ridiculously padded or made out of super stretchy fabric, so unless you're so naturally perky you don't need a bra anyway, your boobs basically sag down over the underwire like water balloons.

They're worse than M&S and that's pretty difficult to do IMO.

sooperdooper · 18/08/2013 10:08

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this! The bras are the same price as very good ones you can get in John Lewis etc but not half as good quality and do nothing for my boobs!!

It's all marketing over substance ;)

Over priced and I'm a bit meh about it.

They use stunning super models to try to sucker us in, I am never going to look like Gisele or Lily so I'll stick to Marks and Figleaves.
