To buy a new wool wrap for DC2? (Not very important issue)

Hi all

I have a ridiculous question. I am due DC2 and have been going through DS's old baby clothes. When DS was born, we got a load of lovely things including a merino wrap and hat, which I don't think we ever got round to putting him in.

It's been preying on my mind (late pregnancy obsessiveness) and I've just found it, safely put away for DC2 - and full of sodding moth holes. WIBU to buy one exactly the same and tell the person who bought the original that we saved it? It was lovely and cost quite a lot.

I can't decide whether it is a waste of money to get another or whether it is a good idea. What do you think?

if you wznt to use one, yeah go ahead.. i dont see why it has to be the same? unless of course you like it.

the person wont be offended if you dont use it

I remember late pregnancy obsessiveness Grin

If you think your new baby will definitely get some wear from it, then buy a new one. If not identical (or maybe cheaper), you can tell your friend that you liked the first one so much you had to find another. Don't buy one to keep in the cupboard!

However, if I was the friend, I wouldn't give mind not seeing your dc in it, if that's the issue. I bought my friend an expensive blanket for her baby - she said she treasured it and that was enough.

You never used it for DC1 but you want to buy the same for DC2. Bonkers but if you have the money, go for it.
