if they send me a letter telling me that BT Infinity is in my area and I can sign up now?

So I call the number on my "invitation" only to be told that it's not available! Apparently "expressions of interest" are being taken and I will only get the service if enough households sign up.

I think I will stick with my current provider.

I went for that. First I had to wait 6 weeks, then another 3 and finally, after waiting in ALL DAY, not only did the fucker not turn up to install it, he lied about not having my number, he lied to his manger about the van breaking down, then he lied to both of the customer advisers that I was complaining to, the first one that the first job he was on ran over, then he lied to the second that he did call but I wasn't in and that he's outside my door at that very moment - while I was on the phone to said customer services person!

I was as were the manager and the poor sod at the other end of the phone.
