3 weeks gone and 3 to go and I'm really tired. Been out to park this morning then to gardens this afternoon so ds could run, scooter and climb trees. Got home tired, hungry about 5pm and ds starts "I'm bored!". He gets up at 7am as he insists on saying bye to daddy when he goes to work, then not asleep until at least 9pm. He has had some frequent huge meltdowns and I am drinking a lot of coffee!

Could you swap him (not permanently of course) I mean if he invites a friend over for a few hours then the other parent reciprocates. :)

Fortunately some school friends have met up with us a few times. His best friend is coming to play next week so that will be great because they entertain each other. I admire parents of more than one child. Much harder work

swapping is the best thing- have a friend to play then send your DS to friends in return.

and it works well with 2 kids too - you can have an exchange, you have the 2 older ones while someone else has the younger two, and swap - they always play better with friends than siblings!
