To think that this is actually quite cheeky (FB related)

Someone on my FB friends, who is often asking for favours or freebies via her status has done another status today. Today's one is saying that she would like to go on holiday at the end of the month with just her DH and could anyone have her 5 children for a week so that they can go! Unsurprisingly, no one replied.

I think it's really cheeky. Lets face it, we'd all like a week or two in the sun child-free but if you have kids it's just one of those things that usually isn't an option. Also I'm shocked at the fact that she'd probably let any random person from her FB friends have the kids and just palm them off for a week with whoever will have them so that she can go off and do what she pleases.

Sounds like she is joking

SaucyJack · 07/08/2013 22:13

I'm quite she she probably wouldn't let any old random person from her FB friends have the kids.

maybe she was just joking? I often say "does anyone fancy dd for the rest of the school hols!?" but would never actually let any old randomer have her!

I've offered DD out for free at the childrens centre before, offered her to cashiers, my landlord....... It's all joking mostly

Judging by other things/favours she asks for in her statuses I really don't think she was joking. I know in the past she's asked mutual friends to have her children 'for an hour' and been gone for over 6 hours, and various other incidents.

I offered my dc for adoption on fb once.
Anyone who didn't know it was a joke obviously doesn't know me well enough to need.to be on there.
