Iabu but need to vent

Dh is sahd to dd3 and ds15 and dd12. He's been very ill recently. Been a really rubbish 2 months. I've been off work then on reduced hours, back to full hours this week. Had the day from hell today. Came home wrecked and an hour later than I should have.
Dh was outside with dd3 playing this afternoon and developed some sort of allergy. Watery eyes, wheezing etc. He took an antihistamine which helped but has made him really drowsy. He was grumpy with me when I got home. I made tea and tidied up and am now trying to settle little miss insomnia. He's asleep on the sofa.
I know it's one of those things but I am so tired and could have done with some support for once.

I dont know because I have just developed hayfever this week and am all woe is me hot helpful

I would say just put it down to a shit day all round and have an early night and a cuddle if its not a regular occurance

I guess I'm just struggling and exhausted after a really tough few months and didn't want another night of having to be the strong one.

I wouldn't just be grumpy with him - you have a 15 and 12 year old who can tidy up and make tea - you sound shattered x

Yes ds 15. Clearly I needed him to turn into the teenager from hell just as his dad went into hospital. Ok it's understandable he found it tough but he's been such a sod the past 2 months
Dd 12 bathed her wee sister while I tidied the kitchen and put the dishwasher on. She's a wee lamb :)
Dd 3 is now asleep. Going to drag him off the sofa and into bed now and eat dd 3's ice cream from the freezer as she's forgotten she has it
