to hope Tescos would stop someone hacking my account repeatedly

Too much to ask for?
My online account was hacked and reported in June. Passwords changed and reassurances given it was a one off and allegedly my fault..hmmm..

Okay, so it happened again in July, same person and they ordered a buggy through the account-most strange but again reported and I'm assured the account is closed.

Then I get club card points in the post to my address with the hackers name on it.

Anyone else had anything similar?

Do you recognise the name?

Can you remove your bank details and just put them in manually when you order something?

SoupDragon · 07/08/2013 13:20

Were they lots of clubcard points?

Have you run security scans etc on your computer to check for spyware? It may not be Tescos fault at all given it is the same person and they are able to get your new password.

Gruntfuttock · 07/08/2013 13:21

In what way did they say it was your fault? Did they suggest you had insufficient security on your PC for example? Have you?

How odd!

It's all most bizarre, why hack an account and then order something on your own card? I suspect something odd at Tesco's end, nothing else on my laptop's been tampered with and I'm rather anal about PC security.
