I've never heard of him, so he's not getting any recognition from me. Not sure if he is deserving or undeserving of my ignorance.

I just felt sorry for him when I heard an interview where he had lost his way and was giving up on music and it cam across like I feel he is living under his dads shadow.

Folkgirl his dad is awesome agreed. Just the fact that he must always be being compared must irk.

I never even noticed the surname! I am being particularly dozy today though.

I just don't understand the offspring of famous musicians, James McCartney, Julian Lennon etc. ever thinking they'll escape their parents shadow.

To be honest that's the main reason they're getting any publicity.

Unfortunately, when your dad is someone as amazing as LC it's probably better if you carve out a completely different career. It doesn't matter how talented he is, he was always going to be compared.

It is a shame for him though. Perhaps we could steer him onto one of the 'My parents have made my life really fucking difficult' threads on here!

I mean LC is getting on a bit now. AC is quite good looking, but given the choice of the two...

Part of me thinks they would be better having a pop using a pseudonym and then part of me thinks why should they deny their histoy and lineage and who they are.
