So I read on here that men in red trousers is some sort of toff statement. Really? I never noticed this (but then am neither terribly posh or terribly visual) but couldn't somehow see it. Disappointingly the toffs I meet are never attired in red pants then I found this collection. Each is better than the last and the first is fine:)

Oh dear. I have a pair of postbox-red trousers which I quite often wear. Had no idea they were a 'toff statement' and wondering if the same applies for women?

They all wear salmon trousers round here and Ralph Lauren polo shirts (live where they hold the polo gold cup so see lots!)

I'm going to a country show tomorrow. Will be prime red trouser spotting territory. Will take photos of any I spot.

One of those men is my BIL - I am almost positive!

It really is the most appalling toff trend. They are usually corduroy as well....yeuch
