Where I live is having its "proms" weekend

Tonight is 80s night

It all sounds lovely and I am glad everyone is having a good time but they might as well have set up an amp in my 20 month olds bedroom.

I cannot get him to sleep as Heaven 17 or someone are serenading him loudly and he is stood up in his cot shouting "mooooosic mummy. moooosic"

I know its only 3 nights a year and he might sleep later in the morning but AIBU to wish they could have a lovely time very, very quietly

I want my wine and dinner :(

your turn will come when your 17 month old will be at his prom, and no doubt annoying someone with a baby. circle of life i'm afraid. right now next doors 7 year old constantly jumping on a trampoline THAT SQUEAKS is driving me nuts, now mine are teens, i feel i cant complain

I know :(

It's just so loud.

I used to appreciate the free concert.
