What not to do on a hot summers day

Last night we had chicken stirfry from the left over roast we'd hadof meat the night before. As I was haivng trouble getting enough chicken off I boiled up the last of it and lots fell off.

I made a lovely stir fry... got distracted, left the stock in the pan and forgot about it until just now when I took the lid off it.

The stench was vile. It had had a whole day standing in warm weather.

Gross. I said similar to DH today as thanks to the insane heat (our kitchen faces, erm, whatever direction the sun is highest at. South?) our empty ice lolly moulds had green fuzz Confused

My contribution to this advice thread would be:
Don't put your sweaty shoes outside to get them aired in the sun. You will forget them and then find slugs in them at 10pm.
(thank fuck they are washable)
