Just re-reading Riders and its struck me that he was being a complete ass to Fen - telling her that he wasn't going to wait around for her and if she wouldn't sleep with him he'd just go elsewhere.

Read Riders, Polo etc... years ago and loved them but can't remember much about the story lines I'm afraid but your post has inspired me to read them again. I used to skim read the pages looking for all the juicy sex scenes.

Go back to Riders, Rivals and Polo - they're the best IMO. I didn't think Jump! was that great tbh. I think she has a new one coming out this year.

I am re-reading Rivals, and loving it. I realised with horror today though that when I first read it I was Taggie's age, and now I am Rupert's. Yikes.

Malise Gordon was an OK kind of guy.

Can't think of any others that were though.

I just started reading Jump! again

Even the nice men are pretty horrendous. Billy basically rapes Helen in the Kenya foursome. Declan sleeps with Cameron in Ireland. I do love them though; well, up to about Apassionata, they go downhill from there.

1. because it's her newer ones I struggle with
2. because in any interviews she always says something along the lines of Rupert being such a wanderer that he can't possibly stay faithful to Taggie. Nooo. I couldn't bear it.

It all went wobbly after Appassionata and even that was iffy in places. Reading TMWMHJ atm, excellent stuff!

I'm re-reading Rivals at the mo. It is my absolute favourite JC book and has a fair share of cad free men e.g Declan &, Patrick O'Hara.

But I'd go for Rupert every time.

at all of us re-reading Jump. I just skimmed it the first time and reading am it properly now. It isn't great but I did cry yesterday at Billy / Amber / Rupert in the hospital

There was also that terrible scene in the hotel with the teenager and the foursome and it was just as horrible as the Helen, Janey, Billy and Rupert one. I was amazed that it wasn't seen for what it was all these years later and the aggressors ending up in prison!
